We signed a contract and gave them $1000 deposit to start the project in September, 2019 with the expressed intention of having the work completed by December, 2019 so that we could take advantage of the Federal Tax Credit. We were told that we had more than enough time and completion by December, 2019 would not be a problem. I didn't hear from them for over two months so, I called in Early November and was told that the permits had not been issued and they were still going through plan check. I couldn't believe that after two and a half months permits had not been issued so, I called the Los Angeles County Building Dept. and was told that the plans had been sitting there for weeks waiting for someone to pick them up and make minor corrections so they could issue the permits.I called the company and explained this, they said they would look into it and get back to me.They didn't call me back until late January, 2020 after the contract had expired. I cancelled the job. I would like to give them a negative star but unfortunately one star is the lowest.
