Sullivan Solar Power is a privately-held solar energy company that does business in San Diego and the surrounding area.

Sullivan Solar Power, Inc. is the largest and most successful solar energy company in the city and county of San Diego. Sullivan designs and installs solar energy systems throughout Southern California, but primarily in San Diego, Orange, and Riverside Counties.

The company is headquartered in San Diego. But it has affiliated offices in the cities of Riverside and Irvine. Sullivan Solar Power serves the residential, commercial, and public sectors, and has been contracted to install solar panel arrays by multiple area colleges, municipalities and organizations (including the San Diego Padres baseball team).

Sullivan opened for business in 2004. It was the brainchild of Daniel Sullivan, who has retained ownership of the company since its inception and currently serves as CEO. Sullivan is a State-Certified Master Electrician, and all the installation technicians he hires are also certified electricians.

Sullivan Solar Power offers clients a complete range of installation services, covering initial consultation, site evaluation, project design, permitting, installation, electrical hook-up and testing, quality control inspection, monitoring,

maintenance, and repairs if needed. The company is a C-10 licensed contractor, reflecting its expertise in electrical work, and all its project developers are certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).

Financing is often an issue with solar energy, and Sullivan employs solar financing experts to help clients explore the possibilities, which may include solar loans from area banks or PACE loans through local governments. They also provide solar leasing or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) options for those who prefer that arrangement.

As a promoter of the North American solar energy industry, Sullivan Solar Power has a longstanding affiliation (as an official dealer) with SunPower. In general, it only does business with suppliers who produce panels and other solar equipment in the United States.

Sullivan has installed more than 8,000 solar power systems in Southern California, with a collective capacity of more than 56,000 kilowatts. In recognition of their success, they have received several awards from the San Diego Business Journal and Inc. Magazine in the "Fastest Growing Company" category.
