  I don’t usually write reviews, but this company deserves a 5-star rating! Vivint put a system on my home in Sacramento for nothing - I got a PPA, which means they own and maintain the panels, and I buy the energy they produce. My electric bill will probably drop by half! My sales person did a good job explaining the economics of it to me. And the panels look nice too - the installers even painted the conduit to match my house. I would not hesitate to recommend going solar with this company!

  We had door to door salesmen from Vivint at our home. They tried to get us to sign an “authorization for a site eval,” but when I actually read the paper, it was a full installation contract with a lot of the fields already filled in! Dishonest company!

  We had several solar companies come to our house, but I really liked Vivint’s model where you pay nothing for the panels - just the energy they produce. Our sales rep patiently explained how the panels and the payments worked, and didn’t put pressure on me to agree. He was always quick to respond to my questions. Once I signed the contract, it took longer than I thought it would, and there were a few crossed signals along the way. I suspect this is because they are growing very fast, and sometimes struggling to keep up with their workload. Vivint worked those issues out to my satisfaction though, and the install itself went pretty quickly. In retrospect, I’m pretty satisfied with the equipment and service I received.

  This is the 2nd time a Vivint sales person has come to my home. I was interested the first time, but I never heard from that person again. A different man showed up this week, but he seemed pretty sketchy and not trustworthy. I also don’t like the fact that they don’t have a monitoring system so you can see your output. I do want to go solar, but will look for a local Fresno company.

  My Vivint rep was extremely knowledgeable about solar equipment, installation, financing and other payment options. I definitely recommend checking Vivint out before choosing another company.

  We interviewed Vivint Solar last month and since then, we’ve had nearly 10 different people suddenly show up to take photos of our electrical panel. I called and left a complaint with a manager and surprise - he never called me back. If you don’t want to be hounded, do not engage with company.

  We just had our system installed, and we’ve been pleased with Vivint so far. A friend who’s a satisfied customer recommended them to us, and they haven’t let us down yet. They patiently answered my slew of questions and were always quick to get back to me. The entire process has gone very smoothly to date. Just waiting for the final approvals from the city and the utility before switching it on!

  Really enjoyed working with Vivant. My sales representative was very personable and knowledgable - he had no trouble answering all of my questions and never pushed me to buy. The technicians were also very professional and efficient. They worked quickly, and once they were gone you couldn’t even tell they were here, other than the sharp-looking new panels on my roof. Highly recommend.

  I recommend Vivint Solar without reservation. It’s a great deal - get solar panels for nothing down, then pay them (mostly) for your electric and save a good chunk on energy overall. Everyone should do this.

  The Vivant salesman who came to my door was short on details and long on pressure. He told me that just to get an eval and quote I would have to sign an installation contract. He couldn’t tell me much about what would happen if I moved, and seemed like the typical “slick” salesman.
